X-Files actor set to release debut music album

David Duchovny who is best known for his leading role in the classic TV series , and a sex addict writer on the TV hit series Californication has announced that he will be dropping his music debut album.

The actor will soon push out a folk-rock album called '. The album which will contain twelve tracks will be out on May 12 on ThinkSay Records.

Duchovny who learnt how to play the guitar spoke about his music career in a press release statement. "Making this record is a dream come true, but I never had this dream -- it's still a shock when I think about how all this music happened. What I do know is that I feel these songs represent the truest expression that I’ve ever been able to achieve and I look forward to sharing it with everyone."

David Duchovny will be back as Agent Fox Mulder in a The X-Files that will span just six episodes.
