Rapper denounces concert film

Drake has distanced himself from a concert film titled Drake's Homecoming: The Lost Footage.

The concert film is made up of a 23 year old Drake performing at Toronto's Sound Academy in 2009. The film is only showing on March 19, 2015.

Drake however has denounced the project publicly. He went on Twitter to announce to his fans that he has nothing to do with the project. "The Drake Homecoming film is not something OVO or Drake have any part in. I feel it is my responsibility to inform and protect my fans" tweeted the Canadian rapper.

The man behind the concert film is Jas Prince, CEO of Young Empire Music Group. He is the man who found Drake before he signed to Young Money.
