Showers of blessings as Uncle Ato rocks Kokomlemle Methodist Church
Reverend Bruce Ghartey, popularly known as Uncle Ato, in music circles thrilled hundreds of gospel fans at Ayeyi 2018 held at the Bethel Metholdist Church, Kokomlemle over the weekend.
Uncle Ato, who is one of the best worship leaders in Ghana, combined the Methodist hymns and some of his popular songs to lead the congregation to celebrate the goodness of God throughout the year.
There had been other ministrations, before Uncle Ato took over the platform to put the icing on the cake with 1 hour 15 minutes of continuous impartation.
It all started with a performance by the Drama and Choreography Group of the Bethel Methodist Youth Fellowship, before Sister Beverly Nii Adu Laryea continued with the praises.
Rhema Melody, the host group, also thrilled the congregation and the penultimate performance fell to Nii and Nii.
Beyond the entertainment, there was a recognizable mass of Ghanaians who came to connect with God the same way people looked for mobile phone chargers after days in darkness.
Mawuli, one of the invited guests, disclosed that Ayeyi 2018 brought him to church for the first time in ten years and he felt fulfilled after the programme.
