Ghana have a better head to head against Mali in the Africa U-17 Nations Cup, having won two, lost one and drawn one.
The Black Starlets first ever game against the Malians happened in 1995 on Malian soil when they hosted the rest of Africa. Ghana piped them by just a goal to nil.
Mali earned a revenge two years later when they defeated the Black Starlets 2-1 to advance to the final of the 1997 Africa U-17 Championship.

The Black Starlets settled for a goalless draw against their Malian counterparts in 1999 in group B clash.
Ghana, however, defeated Mali 3-2 in 2005 in their group A fixture and that was the last time these two nations faced off in the Africa U-17 Nations Cup.
Mali will be engaging Ghana for the very first time in the final of the Africa U-17 Nations Cup.
Kick-off time: 5:30pm on Sunday.
