Fifi Kwetey defines incompetence for the NPP

Explaining what incompetence means he said the NPP were the biggest incompetent group in the country since they have elected a party flagbearer who has lost at the general elections twice.

The opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) has often described President John Mahama as incompetent ever he took office as President.

But the President in times past had refuted such descriptions saying the NPP has no moral right to call him that.

The Minister of Tourism Fifi Kwetey has supported the President Mahama. He said it was the members of the NPP that were to be described as incompetent.

Explaining what incompetence means he said the NPP were the biggest incompetent group in the country since they have elected a party flagbearer who has lost at the general elections twice.

“Incompetence is when a political party persists in electing a candidate that has caused the decline in that party’s electoral fortune since 2008 and that candidate hasn’t got what it takes to appeal to voters outside of two regions in Ghana."

"That is monumental incompetence on the part of the NPP,” he added.

Fifi Kwetey was speaking at an event organised in Accra by the NDC dubbed ‘Setting The Record Straight’.

He said the NPP were so incompetent that “if you want to continue with NPP’s incompetence we will not leave here today.”

He said Ghanaians had no business with losers and therefore encouraged them to vote for the person who has shown enough competence on the job for continuity.
