Hearts of Oak face Asante Kotoko on May 1

Asante Kotoko will be hosted by Accra Hearts of Oak in the first leg of the Ghana@60 anniversary game on Monday 1st May, 2017 at the Ohene Djan Sports Stadium.

Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko will lock horns in the battle for supremacy when the come face to face in the Ghana@60 anniversary game on Monday

Asante Kotoko will be eyeing a revenge against Hearts of Oak for their league defeat in Accra, while the Phobians will target a repeat of that game.

The first leg which comes off today (Monday) will be played in Accra with the return leg happening in Kumasi in a later date.

The winner of the trophy will receive GHC 50,000 as prize money from the President of the Republic of Ghana.

Meanwhile, GHC 50,000 each has been given to the two clubs as appearance fee and the same amount will be issued to them in the 2nd leg in Kumasi.

Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, the President of the Republic of Ghana and his Vice, Dr. Bawumia will be in attendance among a host of other dignitaries to grace the occasion.
