Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo showed off his soft side as he meet with Haidar who lost both of his parents in a Beirut attack in November 2015.

A bombing by Islamic State group left many dead including Haidar’s parents while the three-year-old was injured.

The three-year-old is said to a huge fan of Ronaldo had dreams of meeting his idol one day.

Following the brutal attack in the Lebanese capital last month, the story of Haidar, photographed in a Real Madrid shirt after surviving the massacre, came to global attention.

Real Madrid got in touch with the boy and granted his wish of meeting Ronaldo on Friday, December 18.

Ronaldo was on hand to meet the little boy as he visited Real Madrid’s stadium.

"Haidar, a three-year-old child who in November lost both of his parents in bombings in Beirut, saw his dream come true on Friday when he was given the opportunity to meet his idol, Cristiano Ronaldo," Real Madrid said in a statement posted on its website.

Ronaldo gave the boy who was wearing a Real Madrid jersey which he was gifted to by the club’s president, Florentino Perez.

Haidar was given a tour of the stadium and Real  Madrid’s trophy room.

He was also at the stand as Real Madrid thrashed Rayo Vallecano 10-0 on Sunday.
