Scores of supporters of the ruling National Democratic Congress have gathered at the Kumasi International airport awaiting the arrival of President John Mahama as he begins his Accounting to the people tour of the Ashanti region today [Tuesday].

President Mahama will inspect Asawase’s market and roads after which he will head to Kumawu, where he will inspect ongoing works on the Kumawu Hospital and water system.

The president is also expected to inaugurate Kumasi Polytechnic’s Center for Renewable Energy and Entrepreneurship Village.

The president will also make a stopover at the Kejetia market to end Day 1 of the tour.

The president has already been to Greater Accra, Volta, Central, Western, Eastern regions as part of his Accounting to the People tour.
