Nigerian actor, Mr. Ibu has lauded Ghanaian actor, Majid Michel for his prowess in acting.

Known in real life as John Okafor, Mr Ibu mentioned Majid as his favourite actor. He described him as a mad man on camera.

“Majid is a mad man. I love him so much,” he said when asked who his favourite Ghanaian actor is.

On his favorite actress, Mr Ibu chose Jackie Appiah.

Majid was born in Cantonments. The son of a Lebanese father and a Ghanaian mother grew up in Accra with his nine siblings.

He entered professional acting by auditioning for a modelling agency. He was invited to join the modelling agency, Super Model Agency, on the behest of his next-door neighbour. He starred in the television series Things We Do for Love, acquiring his nickname “Shaker” on the set. He has since starred in countless number of movies including Chelsea, Agony of Christ, Somewhere in Africa, Shakira, The Game and Bursting Out.

Majid has won several awards including GIAMA Best Actor award for his role in Brother’s Keeper.
