'I will never join PSG'

The Ghanaian says he will never play for the Paris-based club

Swansea City star player Andre Ayew has made it clear that he is not being linked with Ligue 1 outfit Paris Saint-Germain and says his destination will be only Marseille if he has to make a return to France.

“One day play for PSG? No, I do not think so,” Ayew told RMC.

“When you play at Olympique Marseille you can not play for PSG? No, that’s not it. Today I’m enjoying my football in England and returning to France is not my part of my plans at the moment.”

“And if I have to return to Ligue 1, I hope it will be in Marseille “.

Electoral violence is fast becoming a dangerous stain on Ghana’s democratic record. Once seen as isolated incidents, violent disruptions are now a recurring feature of our elections. The question remains: how do we confront this growing canker before it weakens our democracy beyond repair?

The Ghanaian grabbed a double in the safety-assuring weekend win over Liverpool, taking his tally to 10 following his arrival on a Bosman-free from Marseille last summer.

It was a move seen as a coup by many as the Swans saw off competition from a string of European and Premier League rivals – including this weekend’s opponents West Ham – to snare the African ace.

Ayew has won more than 60 caps for Ghana and had scored 52 goals in 181 games for Marseille since making his debut in 2007.
