Ghanaian footballer questioned in South Africa over stolen car

Bernard Morrison was reportedly arrested in South Africa for possessing a stolen vehicle

Ghanaian attacker, Bernard Morrison who plays for Orlando Pirates was reportedly arrested on Tuesday for being in possession of a stolen car.

According to the Daily Sun, Morrison was arrested while he was driving the car he recently acquired.

The Ghanaian-born is believed to have been detained at the Douglasdale Police Station in Randburg where he faces charge of robbery

Bernard Morrison reportedly bought a car through an agent, but the agent didn’t pay the instalments.

Orlando Pirates, however were unaware of the arrest of their Ghanaian attacker as of the early hour of Wednesday

“Yoh, I don’t know, it’s the first time I’m hearing this. But I really don’t know because I haven’t been to the office yet,” Pirates administrative manager Floyd Mbele told Goal.

Bernard Morrison a former player of Ashanti Gold and AS Vita player has struggled to get much playing time at Orlando Pirates since he joined them from the Congolese giants
