The presidential candidate during his 'Rise and Build' tour reiterated the need for unity in the party ahead of the 2016 elections.

The flagbearer of the main opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has admitted to challenges at the national executive level of the party giving the assurance that he will do whatever is possible to unite the party.

According to Nana Addo, "There is disunity in every party but NPP is ready to cooperate with system and economy."

Speaking on Citi FM Monday morning, Nana Addo admitted that there are challenges at the national level of the party adding that it has not affected the grassroot level of the NPP.

"Any honest person will admit that there are challenges at the national executive level of the party..., the challenges at the national executive level of the party has not affected us at the grassroot level," he noted.

The nationwide tour by the NPP flagbearer kicked off in the Volta region, proceeded to the Eastern region, Upper West region and currently in the Upper East region to meet and interact with the party’s support base, regional and constituency executives.
