A legal practitioner has written to the Electoral Commission seeking to annul the results of the NDC’s Klottey Korle parliamentary primary that saw Zanetor Rawlings emerge winner.
A letter by law firm Safo & Marfo wants to know whether or not Dr. Ezanator (Zanetor) Rawlings is a registered voter.
The letter by law firm Safo & Marfo wants to know:
“1. Whether or not Dr. Ezanator (Zanetor) Rawlings is a registered voter within the meaning of Article 94 (1)(a) of the 1992 Constitution of the Republic of Ghana.”
“2. If so when was her name entered into the electoral register?”
It has also asked the EC to provide information on when the name of the daughter of former president Jerry Rawlings was entered in Ghana’s electoral roll, if indeed she is a registered voter.
The law firm also wants a certified true copy of the voter’s register.
