In the lead up to the general elections in about six months, newly formed political party The All People's Congress is determined to get enough members.
For this reason it is promising free health care for anybody who becomes a member of the party.
APC leader Hassan Ayariga in an exclusive interview with Pulse News said " we re going to link the APC membership card to the National Health Insurance Scheme"
This means that any member of the party who falls sick will have their "bills taken care of by the APC."
He said it is a way to show people that given the opportunity the APC can deliver social interventions for Ghanaians.

"We can change the lives of the people , it is the beginning of social intervention of the APC with regards to its members"
Ayariga formed his new party in January after he lost his bid to become flagbearer of the PNC for the second time. He was defeated by Edward Mahama who is back to lead the party again.
Ayariga said he quit the PNC because he never got the support needed to move the party forward even when he was the flagbearer for the party.
His said the slogan for his party is "come on aboard" which essentially means everybody regardless of your political affiliation should come together to build Ghana.
