The head of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) campaign committee on Trade and Industry, Alan John Kyerematen, has said the NPP will encourage Ghanaian business ownership if the party wins the 2016 elections.
The former trade minister under the Kufuor administration said the NPP will establish a national entrepreneurship and innovative plan to drive local business ownership.

He was addressing students of the University of Cape Coast on the last day of Nana Akufo-Addo's campaign tour of the Central Region.
“The NPP government under Nana Addo wants to encourage you to own your own business and that is why we want to establish a national entrepreneurship and innovative plan that will support every individual that wants to establish their own business,” he said.
Alan Kyerematen also assured the students that enough jobs will be created under Akufo-Addo's presidency so as to employ them when they graduate.

“We want to assure you that if you make Nana Addo the next president of Ghana, you will be guaranteed a job when you finish school,” he assured.
