The Human Rights Division of the Accra High Court on Wednesday upheld the procedures and processes followed by the party to suspend Mr Afoko in 2015.

According to the judgment of the presiding judge Justice Anthony Yeboah, the suspension of the Mr. Afoko was just, lawful and fair.

He further added that the procedure used for the suspension was right and was not breached in any way by the NPP.

Earlier, the acting general secretary of the party issued a statement saying it feels vindicated by the courts decision.

However, Mr Boadu was quick to add that supporters of the party should “see the decision of the Court not as an opportunity to jubilate, but rather as another reason to renew our faith in our cause and our commitment to getting all hands on deck.”
