FC Schalke 04’s adventure in the Far East is in full swing and, while the Royal Blues’ squad are giving a fantastic account of themselves and the Bundesliga on the pitch, club ambassador Gerald Asamoah is playing his part off it.
The 37-year-old took a trip to a local school in Guangzhou, much to delight of the youngsters in attendance.
Schalke beat Guangzhou R&F FC 6-1 in the opening pre-season fixture on their tour of China, but Asamoah had his hands full in a different way.

Games were played and pictures were taken, but most important was that the much-loved fan favourite was able to teach them the correct pronunciation of 'Schalke 04'.
