Toure powers Bechem to victory in game full of controversy

The Ivorian Import scores late minute goal to grab all the three points for Bechem United on Wednesday against Tema Youth

Amed Toure was in the news once again when his two goal handed Bechem United the three points, as they piped Tema Youth on Wednesday in their outstanding match day 2 Ghana Premier League clash.

Tema Youth had two players sent off for foul play- Ibrahim Yusif and Malik Antiri.

Despite, that the hosts struggled to break the defence of 9-man Tema Youth team, but when the game was heading to a goalless that Amed Toure nodded in Kofi Bekoe's cross on the stroke of  full time.

The was almost marred by controversy moments before the match winner. The Tema Youth goalkeeper went to ground and after he was treated on the field the referee told the fourth referee who was about to show six minutes added time to seven minutes.

The decision didn't go down well with the Tema Youth officials and resulted in some misunderstanding. It was afterwards that Amed Toure got the winner..

Tema Youth after the game complained that thieves broke into their dressing room and took away boots and some other items.
