I am frustrated by the 4-0 defeat to Everton- Andre Ayew

Andre Ayew is sweating over his side’s poor run of form this season.

The 27-year-old and his Hammers teammates were handed a 4-0 defeat on Wednesday at the Merseyside, with the former Manchester United and England international Wayne Rooney grabbing a hattrick.

Ayew has poured out his frustration after West Ham’s heavy defeat to Everton.

He said: “There are no words. We came here with lots of determination to do something. We leave here with zero points and four goals conceded. It’s not normal.

“We need to stay strong, be men, take responsibility and move forward. It’s been frustrating but we need to turn our season around.

“We need to get back to work and try and get some points. We need to stay strong, be men, take responsibility and move forward.

“It’s not going to be easy, it will be difficult as we have tough games coming up. But we need to tune our mind and fight and try and get the maximum points that we can from those games.”

West Ham United are struggling this season, having been pushed to the drop zone and with difficult games coming up for them against Manchester City, Chelsea and Arsenal they need to work above themselves to churn out the desired results.
