Alarm blows over GRA travel and per diem expenses

The GRA is believed to have blown GH₵ 7.2 million on foreign trips and per diems in 2014 alone.

A whistle blower and tax consultant has accused the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) of blowing GH₵ 7.2 million on foreign trips and per diems in 2014.Kudzo Akpabey has also predicted that the amount will double this year as the GRA has increased its spending.

Mr. Akpabey said the president must be firm and demand accountability to address the huge revenue leakages in the system.
