West Ham United fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Andre Ayew against Manchester City.

Ayew joined West Ham from Premier League rivals Swansea City in the summer of 2016 for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £20 million.

The former Marseille star had injury issues last season and was able to make only 16 starts in the Premier League, scoring six goals and providing three assists in the process.

On Friday afternoon, Ayew featured for West Ham in a pre-season friendly match against Premier League rivals Manchester City, playing  86 minutes, as Slaven Bilic’s side suffered a 3-0 defeat in Iceland.

And West Ham fans were not impressed with the performance of the Ghana international winger, and some of them want the club to sell him in the summer transfer window.
