Aston Villa striker offered to Bordeaux

Prior to making the move to Aston Villa, Ayew had played his trade in France at both Marseille and Lorient, and he has now been linked with a move to Ligue 1 side Bordeaux.

Aston Villa striker Jordan Ayew has been offered to Bordeaux by his agent, according to reports in France.

The Ghana international has been linked with a move back to France after the Villains were relegated from the top-flight last season.

It is looking likely that Ayew will refuse to play in the Championship, and it is looking increasingly likely that the Ghanaian will leave this summer as Roberto Di Matteo looks to assemble a squad that will give it their all to fight for promotion back to the Premier League.

The Ghanaian international could be susceptible to a move away from the Championship club, but wages with Bordeaux would be an issue.
