Ghanaian midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng has signed a one-year contract with the option for a second with Las Palmas, the Spanish side have confirmed.
Boateng’s arrival was announced late on Monday evening and he is expected in Gran Canaria on Tuesday to undergo a medical, and all being well he will be presented to the media later in the day.

A statement on Las Palmas’ official website said: “Las Palmas has reached an agreement with representatives of the player Boateng.
The club’s close relationship with Boateng’s agents, Edoardo and Federico Pastorello, is credited with the success of the deal by the report on the official site, and Boateng is described as the ‘most important foreign player to join the club in decades.’
Boateng, 29, made only one league start during his second spell at the San Siro, having arrived on a short-term deal in January after leaving Bundesliga side Schalke.
