FA Cup Semi-finals games rock Kumasi on Sunday

The Baba Yara Sports Stadium will be the venue of attraction when four clubs meet in the semi-finals to determine the sides that make it to the final.

Former winners of the competition, Okwawu United, a lower division side will face Liberty Professionals, another Premier League club in a game that is expected to produce a lot of thrills.

Okwawu United, dispatched of sensational WAFA from the FA Cup, but they come up against a more difficult top flight side in Liberty Professionals, who are willing to mark their 20th anniversary this year with a major trophy  and they showed it by walloping Elmina Sharks 3-0 to match on to the semi-finals

Liberty Professionals were on cloud 9 in the mid-week,as they hit 4 goals past Sekondi Hasaacas, with Latif Blessing bagging a hat-trick, so the Soccer Mountaineers have a big deal at hand to deal with.

The second semi-finals game will stage a contest between the dark houses of this year’s MTN FA Cup, Wa Rockets and Bechem United.

Wa Rockets, a Division One League club were the conquerors of Wa All Stars, who were at the time occupying the summit of the Ghana Premier League in the Wa derby.

They are bent to go further, but they will have to jump the hurdle of another impress side, Bechem United, who kicked out Asante Kotoko from the competition in Kumasi.
