Ghana international Mubarak Wakaso is hoping to reach the Europa league group stage with his club Panathinaikos.
Marcus Berg struck twice and Cristian Ledesma added the third for the Greek outfit, while captain and goalkeeper Fredrik Ronnow and Svenn Crone were sent off for Brondby.
