Kufuor slams public criticism of party - and it sound like he was denouncing Kennedy Agyapong

Mr Agyapong, Member of Parliament for Assin Central, has become the critic in chief of the NPP and has on countless occasions issued threats against senior figures of the administration.

The ex-president himself has been at the receiving end of his baseless accusations and criticism.

“I want to entreat each and every one of us not to, and let me repeat, not to say or do anything or conduct ourselves in any way that will destabilize the party," Mr Kufuor said at the NPP's delegates conference in the Central Region.

"If you have any criticisms, please render the criticism indoors. You don’t wash dirty linen in public,” he added.

Mr Agyapong, sitting last week on his won radio station Oman FM, launched a blistering attack on some family members of the president.

He also accused some presidential staffers of extorting many from people who want to see the president without providing any shred of evidence.

“Me and my mouth I will say it. Workers and Flagstaff House will disgrace us…..filthy money…. everyone is demanding for money….I will not step foot there again whatever they want to do they can go ahead and do it”, he revealed during a discussion," he said.
