Eliasu Zakari and Justina Nhyiraba Gyasiwaa both admitted that they slept with each other only once.

The teenagers involved in the fornication saga that led to the arrest of the Founder and General Overseer of the International God’s Way Church, Bishop Obinim have confessed, saying they only had sex once.

The two, Eliasu Zakari, (16 years) and Justina Nhyiraba Gyasiwaa (14) in an interview on OBTV admitted having an amorous affair which led them to sleep together.

Eliasu Zakari also noted that he has been leaving with Bishop Obinim for about eight years.

The girl disclosed that she came and had been with Obinim for about four years.

A video of the two teenagers which went viral showed Bishop Obinim whipping the two in the full glare of his congregation and questioned why the jobless man got the girl pregnant.

After he meted out the punishment, Obinim ordered his junior pastors to remove their belts and also flog the two.

The disturbing video has provoked widespread criticism of the controversial preacher leading to his arrest by Domestic Violence and Victim Support Unit (DOVVSU).
