According to Gyampo, Dr. Bawumia should have leave the responsibility of responding to Mahama for the party communicators
According to him, Dr. Bawumia should have leave the responsibility of responding to Mahama for the party communicators, apparatchiks and commentators.
Bawumia has chastised Mahama after the latter accused him of "embarrassing" Nana Addo with a "419" digital addressing application which cost Ghana $2.5 million (GHS9.9m) when it already existed on mobile phones.
He said Mahama, while in office, engaged in propaganda which did not inure to his benefit and so wondered why he would still be wallowing in it while in opposition.
Dr Bawumia also hinted that the government would soon start prosecuting officials of the Mahama administration for corruption.
But Ransford Gyampo in an interview on Accra-based Starr FM argued that he [Bawumia] should have bequeathed the responsibility of responding to Mahama to party officials.
"Generally, I am in pain and that the vice president should go back to his posturing as a father of the nation and also take note of the fact that his office is just a heartbeat away from the president. And so, some of these things he can leave it to other offices to handle and focus on helping the president to deliver on their promises," he said
