Christmas in Ghana is supposed to be all about joy and happiness, and here are the ways you can stay alive to enjoy the festive period

 

Christmas in Ghana is all about joy and happiness (and choofi, if you’re into that kind of thing).

But the festive period in Ghana is not usually just an amazing period where people make merry, it also sometimes is a period when lots of accidents that lead to deaths occur.

And to help you through the season, here is a PSA (Public Service Announcement) for all celebrating Christmas in Ghana on the little tips and tricks that can help you survive the craziness that comes with the festive period.

  • Obey all traffic rules and officials enforcing these traffic laws

  • Exercise patience and avoid road rage
  • Avoid fighting/arguing with other motorists.
  • Do NOT use your phone while driving
  • Use pedestrian bridges
  • Avoid speeding 
  • Do NOT drive when you are tired
