Pulse.com.gh has learnt that the "thief", who was only identified as "Ebo" was grabbed shortly after the church service.
Ebo is heard explaining to the congregants that he had only stolen the money from the church because he was in major hardship and needed money to survive.
In an earlier video, which leaked on social media, Ebo was seen dipping his hand into a church and supposedly stealing some money from the offering.
Unbeknownst to Ebo, a CCTV camera installed inside the church building captured his moves and the footage was subsequently leaked onto social media.
However, a new video of the same person shows him being questioned by some people who are apparently members of the church, supposes that he was caught after the humiliating episode.
In the video, Ebo is heard explaining to the congregants that he had only stolen the money from the church because he was in major hardship and needed money to survive.
"I am not a thief as you may be thinking. I just did it because I was hard up", he confessed to his aggressors.
According to a report by GHPage.com, Ebo was grabbed while trying to repeat the same process at another church.
The reported stated that he was cautioned and freed by his aggressors.
