Sulley Muntari, Messi and Ronaldo compete for best disallowed goal

The Ghana international goal against Juventus in 2012 is one of the greatest ghost goal in football history.

In the wake of Lionel Messi’s ghost goal against Valencia on Sunday, the Pulse sports has done a recount of some of the famous disallowed goals in football history.

Sulley Muntari goal for AC Milan against Juventus leads the list of clear goals disallowed due to the absence of Goal Line Technology (GLT).

The Ghana international beat Juve goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon with a header from close range in August, 2012, but the match officials failed to spot that the ball had crossed the line and waved play on.
