VIDEO: Asamoah Gyan and Essien troll celebs who were snubbed by Cardi B

Ghanaian footballers Asamoah Gyan and Michael Essien have waded in the controversial happenings during <a data-link-role-code="none" href="https://www.pulse.com.gh/entertainment/celebrities/cardi-b-in-ghana-american-rapper-hits-back-at-celebrities-attacking-her/zf13tpf" rel="noopener noreferrer">Cardi B’s recent visit to Ghana. </a>The American rapper was in Ghana over the weekend but her stay in the country wasn’t all rosy.

Her arrival was slightly marred by a misunderstanding between organizers and some Ghanaian celebrities.

What was supposed to be a ‘meet and greet’ session turned into a long wait of frustration.

Tired of waiting, some Ghanaian celebrities took to social media to hit out at Cardi B, with Afia Schwarzenegger and Wendy Shay leading the charge.

Reacting to this, Gyan and Essien shared an Instagram video, in which they mocked the celebrities who were snubbed by the Grammy winner.
