The “Unruly” hitmaker has been heavily criticised by scores of Ghanaians for smoking what many describe as cannabis (or weed) when he stormed one of the streets in Accra.
US-based Ghanaian comedian and up and coming musician, Archipalago has added his voice to angry Ghanaians who are speaking against Jamaican star Popcaan’s public smoking.

Reacting to the incident, Archipalago says some Ghanaians are uncivilised, adding that Ghana police is corrupt for allowing the dancehall star to enjoy such freedom in Ghana.
“I’m angry,” he said, shouting on top of his voice. “Some Ghanaians are uncivilised. Who is Popcaan? And why are you hailing him like he’s a special human being?”
He said the policemen who were present failed to arrest him but wouldn’t spare any Ghanaian if the same incident occurs.
He went ahead to brand Ghana police as corrupt. “Ghana police is corrupt and only interested in collecting GHC1.”
TV host Afia Schwarzenegger has also lashed out at Ghanaians and the police service for allowing the musician to enjoy that freedom.
