Johnny Depp's new wife, Amber Heard has been charged with illegally bringing two dogs into the country earlier this year.
It may have seemed Depp and Amber were off the hook but the Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions has charged Heard (who apparently is technically the owner of the pups) with the illegally importing of animals, namely two Yorkshire Terriers named Boo and Pistol, into Australia in May.
The maximum penalty is 10 years behind bars and/or a fine of $102,000. Under Australian law, dogs brought into the country must be quarantined for 10 days to avoid spreading disease.
Heard has also been charged with "producing a false or misleading document, namely an incoming passenger card" ... which carries a one-year maximum sentence and and a $10,200 fine.
She is expected to appear in Australian court on September 7.
