I was depressed and Efya was my psychologist; MzVee finally opens up (Watch)

MzVee has finally shared the real story behind her absence in the music industry.

The Ghanaian singer during an interview on TV3 with Berla Mundi has disclosed that she had a mental breakdown which left her super depressed for two years over matters of relationship and family.

“For about two years say 2017, 2018, I was super depressed. Super super depressed.” she told Berla Mundi and was asked what made her depressed, she added that “it was just things happening personally and it happened to affect my relationship with work.”

MzVee added that during that period, the only person she could count was her colleague Ghanaian singer, Efya, who has been in the industry for long. “It was really tough but Efya, I’ve always looked up to her, she’s become like a big sis so she’s one person who really helped me,” she said.

The “Davee” singer who said 2019 made her realized that she is a strong person emphasized that, KiDi and Kuame Eugene joining her former record label, Lynx Entertainment, did not however contribute to the woes she experienced.
