'Banned' Ghanaian comedian to host first one-hour stand-up comedy special in September

Comedy watchers in Ghana will remember the comedian who was notoriously banned from plying his trade within the Ghanaian space by DKB, allegedly out of the competition and fear he inspires anytime he mounted the stand-up comedy stage.

Pundits have opined that Augustin Dennis has the best possible potential of representing Ghana on the international front as far as stand up comedy is concerned.

A notion he is actively living and manifesting with all the inroads he has and continues to make in European and Asian stand up comedy clubs and stages.

"I've been lucky to go to the places that comedy has taken me. But always, there is this part of me which gets an extra kick out of making Ghanaian audiences laugh. They are some of the best people to play for."

He said this about his upcoming one-hour comedy special 'Banned' which is going to be held at the Silverbird cinemas on the 15th of September.
