I will star in local movies only if they feature on Netflix – Abraham Attah

According to Abraham Attah if the movie can be featured on Netflix a subscription-based streaming service, which offers online streaming of a library of films and television programs he will feature in.

In an interview with Abeiku Santana on the “Atuu” show, the 'Beast of No Nation' star said he will be willing to feature in local movies only if they have a future.

"If the script is sent to me and it has a future i will feature in it",he stated.

When asked what he meant by movies having a future, he explained that if the movie can be featured on Netflix a subscription-based streaming service, which offers online streaming of a library of films and television programs including those produced in-house because it is now available in Ghana.

Netflix is the world's leading internet entertainment service with 125 million members in over 190 countries enjoying more than 140 million hours of TV shows and movies per day, including original series, documentaries and feature films.

When asked how does he know a movie or a script has a feature. he said "If I read through i will know" .

Abraham Attah made his feature film debut in Netflix’s “Beasts of No Nation” (2015) alongside Idris Elba and has featured on 3 movies so far including “Out Of The Village” and “Spiderman Homecoming.” For his leading role of child soldier Agu, he was awarded the Marcello Mastroianni Award for Best Young Actor at the 72nd Venice International Film Festival.

He was made an Ambassador for the Free Education Policy in Ghana, after having supported the policy with a picture endorsement.
