Elizabeth Amoah aka ‘Special Lady’, reportedly narrated her ordeal to Giovani Caleb on Accra-based 3FM’s Drive show.

According to her, she was compelled to undergo several surgeries to correct the sexual disorders.

She is quoted as saying: “I discovered I had a double womb and a double vagina canal in 2015 after an MRI scan, so I had to undergo about 7 surgeries.”

Elizabeth further disclosed how the scan also detected that she had Endometriosis: a sexual disorder in which tissues linings of the uterus grows outside the uterus, ghpage.com reports.

Having double vaginas does not mean both can be seen outside her body. She explained that the condition means “having one vagina outside and the other inside”.

Having double womb is a rare disorder that according to Elizabeth, “research says can be found in one out of 350 women, and the person might not even know she has it”.

There are no specific symptoms to show that a woman has double womb, except that some people may have irregular periods, fibroids, irregular fainting and in some instances cause infertility, she is reported as having said.
