A 15-year-old girl, Faith Festus, has thrown the Otuagbagi Community in Ogbia Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, into confusion and mourning after she allegedly flogged her 7-year-old brother, identified as Harry, to death over an offence the boy committed, Vanguard Newspaper reports.

A 15-year-old girl has beaten her 7-year-old brother to death because he refused to go on an errand for her.

It was gathered that Festus was angry at the refusal of the boy to run an errand for her and used a cane to beat him till he lost unconsciousness.
She raised an alarm which attracted neighbours who rushed him to the hospital where doctors confirmed him death.

The incident was said to have happened after school hours when their parents were not at home.
The State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Asimin Butswat, confirmed the sad incident, adding that the corpse of the boy had been deposited at the Kolo General Hospital.
