Baby koala holds on to mum during her surgery

A six-month-old koala named Phantom has gotten Internet fame after holding on to his mum Lizzy during her operation.

His mum was being operated on because she had a collapsed lung. Doctors allowed Phantom to cling on to his mum as veterinarians at the Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital  worked on her.

During the procedure. Phantom even wrapped his little arms around her neck.
