Honestly, a Ghanaian police officer will never do this?

Generally, Ghanaians have reservations about the state of policing in the country and some petty conducts of officers that the police service itself has admitted severally that they need to improve on.

However, there are certain things you hardly see a Ghanaian police officer do in public.

Aside drinking, robbery and some other unprofessional conducts that some few miscreants engage in lately, it is debatably rare to see a uniformed police officer sleeping in public like the one in this video.

A traffic police officer apparently napping while on speed trapping duty in the Free State province of South Africa has got its citizens reacting.

Reports say an anonymous driver who was pulled over took a video of the police officer secretly which was published on salivemag.com.

As usual, as soon as the video hit social media, users have been expressing their reactions.

One Thabiso Kokwana wrote: This is what happens when people are hired just because the government wants to eradicate unemployment, not because people are passionate about the job.

Another user by name, Ela Komar said: It's very hot. Maybe he was tired. In parliament it's cool they sleep too. Don't let him lose his job.
