Man arrested for killing another man's wife with marathon sex

The suspect, Abimbola Oyeyemi is reported to have taken the deceased identified as Monsurat Idowu to the State Hospital at Ota, but could not explain the circumstances that led to the death of the woman.

The suspect, Kelvin Micheal is reported to have taken the deceased identified as Monsurat Idowu to the State Hospital at Ota, but could not explain to the hospital officials what circumstances led to the death of the woman.

The hospital management then thought it wise to contact the police who quickly stormed the hospital and arrested him on Wednesday.

Ogun Police spokesperson, Abimbola Oyeyemi is quoted by yabaleftonline.ng as saying: “Men of Ogun State Police Command have on Wednesday the 15th of August arrested one Kelvin Micheal ‘m’ 28yrs old over the death of a 40yrs old woman Monsurat Idowu ‘f’ after a marathon sex.

“The arrest of the suspect was as a result of complaint by one Benjamin Okereke of the State hospital Ota who reported that the suspect brought the deceased to the hospital dead, and since he cannot explain the circumstance that surrounded the death of the deceased, he decided to notify the Police.

“On interrogation, the suspect claimed to have met the deceased last month in a bus at Ketu, Lagos where they exchanged phone numbers, consequent upon which he invited her to the house of his friend in Ota where the deceased suddenly slumped and died shortly after they finished having sexual intercourse.”

When contacted, husband of the deceased, Idowu Lamidi, a commercial bus driver said his wife was in good health and strength before he left home for work and could not fathom what could have led to her sudden death.

Commissioner of Police, Ahmed Iliyasu is reported to have ordered that the case be transferred to the Homicide Section of the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department for investigation.

Meanwhile, the body of the deceased has been deposited at the morgue for autopsy.
