The gravity of embarrassment a young man suffered in public recently when he tried to proposer marriage to his long-time lover, but unfortunately forgot to pick along the ring is not something one should wish for their worst enemy.

What aggravated the embarrassment was the fact that the poor man chose to do the proposal in a public place by virtue of the fact that, he and the fiancée had been dating for a long time, and he intended to make her proud.

Reports say the unidentified man had knelt down and was about to pop the question, ‘will you marry me?’, when he realised that he had forgot to carry the ring he intended to place on the hand of his lover.

While he put his hands on his head and started begging the lady to exercise patience, onlookers could be heard in the video asking her to say ‘yes’ despite the absence of the ring.

Interestingly, the photographer contracted to film the event appeared not to be bothered as he continued with his job regardless of the situation on ground.

Although the identities of the two lovers and the exact location of the occurrence are not yet known, a video of it has been circulating online, generating reactions among social media users.
