15-yr-old in jail for stabbing student in neck with metal file

A 15-year-old student has been arrested for stabbing a fellow student in the neck with a metal file during an argument.

The attacker and his 14-year-old victim, both students at Father Leo J. Austin Catholic Secondary School, Ontario, Canada, had an altercation before the stabbing.

gathered from a The Star report quoting Durham Region police Sgt. Bill Calder that the younger teen was stabbed in the back of the neck with a metal file during the altercation.

He said police were called in after the stabbing which occurred at the school premises around 9am on Tuesday Morning.

The 15-year-old suspect was then arrested while his victim was rushed to a hospital.

No other student was injured in the incident.
