Ghana's Ghandour Cosmetics sales manager, Ali Jihami wins FMCG Awards

Ali Jihami, Head of Sales and Marketing at Ghandour Cosmetics Ltd has been conferred with the National FMCG Star of the Year Award in the Beauty and Hair Care category at the 2023 National FMCG Summit and Awards at the Accra International Conference Centre on the 19th of May.

His Company Ghandour Cosmetics Ltd also won the Best Hair Care Product of the Year Award for their creation, BO-16.

In the 2022 maiden edition of the same awards ceremony, Ali Jihami received the coveted Marketing Icon of the Year Award for the same category.

Jihami is a respected authority in sales and marketing with over 20 years of experience in the FMCG sector, specifically in the Beauty and Personal Care industry. His relentless pursuit of excellence, coupled with his profound understanding of market dynamics has contributed to managing award-winning brands that have become household names such as Princess and BO-16. He has increased his brand’s strong presence further by facilitating its expansion into new territories across Africa. With a supportive team and a proven track record of driving impactful marketing campaigns and executing successful sales strategies, Jihami continues to inspire and set new benchmarks for the industry.


Aside from being a successful professional, Jihami is also a strong advocate for social responsibility. He has through Ghandour Cosmetics Ltd supported initiatives that have helped underprivileged children, empowered women and beauty professionals, and positively impacted health and sanitation in Ghana. These include donating to orphanages, organizing clean-up campaigns, sponsoring events that promote maternal and reproductive health and fight cervical cancer, and supporting beauty pageants.
