NIVEA to ‘spoil’ designers and models with great deals at AFWk2019

the most anticipated date on the fashion calendar gets the full highlight; the Accra Fashion Week (AFWk).

The 2019 edition of the Accra Fashion Week is scheduled for

October 2 and will run through until October 6.

As a means to top the fashion show’s feats recorded in previous editions, AFWk has partnered with NIVEA to add more spice to the show.

Having already given opportunities to designers and models across

the country, Accra Fashion Week 2019 adds loads of prizes with NIVEA coming onboard.

With over 60 designers and models set to rock the runway, fashion

enthusiasts will not have a bigger platform to showcase their talent while winning big at AFWk 2019.

For the 2019 edition, NIVEA has partnered Accra Fashion Week to discover the Face of Accra Fashion Week 2019.

With the aim of spotting the next top model in Ghana, renowned skincare brand NIVEA is set to go the mile with one of Ghana’s most prestigious modelling contests, Face of Accra Fashion Week 2019.

The winner will receive 2000 Ghana Cedis worth of prizes and a 3-year contract with one of the nation’s top fashion agencies. NIVEA will also feature the top model of the Face of Accra Fashion Week on billboards all over the country in its #NoSOS campaign.

As part of creating awareness in the fashion sector, the #NoSOS campaign aims to educate consumers on the need to stay fashion ready by protecting their clothes from sweat, odour and stains using the NIVEA Invisible Black & White deodorants.

Designers are also not left out of the gift package with amazing rewards for their creativity on the runway. The search for the next big fashion is on too with the #NoSOS contest.

Five fashion designers will be selected from submitted entries with all finalists getting to feature their creative designs and showcase their talent on the Accra Fashion Week 2019 runway.

The eventual winner will win a cash prize of 5000 Ghana Cedis among other great gifts.

One other great thing about NIVEA’s partnership with Accra Fashion Week 2019 is that, to discover and promote fresh talents in the Ghanaian fashion industry, the competition is open to all aspiring Fashion Designers just as no previous modelling experience is required for the Face of Accra Fashion Week 2019. These competitions are also opened for both female and male candidates.

The Accra Fashion Week promises to open with a bang and aim at toppling world-renowned fashion events like the MET Gala and become the first fashion gala to hit Ghana’s capital, Accra.
