British publication marks 35th birthday with 18 supermodel covers

As British magazine i-D turns 35, it celebrates many good years in business with 18 covers featuring supermodels, all shot for the anniversary issue by photographer Alasdair McLellan.

The magazine has also collaborated with an almost as  long list of designers including Karl Lagerfeld, Raf Simons, Phoebe Philo, Vivienne Westwood,  Riccardo Tisci and Alexander Wang  to create 11 limited edition covers.

The sultry models, all striking a one eye closed pose in the iconic i-D magazine wink, include veterans Kate Moss, Stella Tennant and Daria Werbowy, new favourites Lara Stone, Jourdan Dunn,  and Edie Campbell and up and comers Freja Beha, Anna Ewers, Binx Walton and Natalie Westling.
