Technology has made it easy for women to boost their lifestyle

Being a woman is not easy. From personal upkeep to work, social life, relationships as well as managing emotions and hormones, there is no denying that woman do have a lot of needs that need to be met.

Thankfully, we are in the age of technology and there are now apps that can help monitor and make it all very much easier. Here are 3 apps that every woman should have:

1. Period Diary: The monthly ‘visitor’ can be a very dramatic time for some women, while it isn’t for others, which makes keeping track of the menstrual cycle a difficult chore.

For other women, they just aren’t good with dates. Whichever category you fall under, the ‘Period App’ gives you the chance to easily keep track of your cycle.

The app is simple and easy to use and helps track and record your menstruation cycle, your most fertile time, and ovulation time. The app is only available for iOS.

2. Period Tracker: Similar to the Period Diary app, the Period Tracker is an app with similar features which alerts you on menstrual cycle, fertile windows, and ovulation days.

It also helps you predict your next period, record symptoms, amongst other things. The app is available on almost all platforms and easier to use.

3. myPill: If you’re keen on family planning, this app reminds you to take your birth control pill. The app also has daily reminders to remind you to take your pills, a planner which reminds you to restock, schedule yearly checkups, and provides a calendar view of pills with history which gives you the option of taking notes tracking symptoms. This app is also available in most stores.
