Kale and other cabbage family vegetables contain a naturally occurring compound called  sulforaphane which has potent anti-cancer properties and it also aids in liver detoxification pathways. Kale is an excellent source of minerals, vitamin A, K and anti-oxidants. Enjoy!

Ingredients

8 red kale leaves

1 large beet (beetroot)

1 bunch of parsley

2 celery sticks

1 lemon

Directions

Wash all produce well.

Peel lemon and beet (optional).

Juice all produce and enjoy!

Substitutions

Red kale – kale, spinach, lettuce

Beet – carrot, sweet potato, radish, red cabbage
