This new freezer-aisle food will make going low-carb way easier

The blogger HungryGirl made a huge announcement on her Instagram feed and fans are pumped.

Pretty much everyone on the planet loves pasta, but it’s no secret that eating noodles 24/7 isn’t great for you. That’s why so many people have turned to zoodles.

These spiralized veggies let you have the feel of pasta, without the carbs. Of course, zoodles aren’t perfect—and the biggest issue is that they’re a serious PIA to make.

Now, there’s help in the frozen food aisle. Green Giant has announced that they’re launching frozen spiralized vegetables that you can store in your freezer. Dubbed “Veggie Spirals,” they come in several varieties: butternut squash, beets, zucchini, and carrot.

The blogger HungryGirl shared the news with her fans on Instagram, and they are understandably freaking the eff out. “This makes me so so happy,” one person wrote. “This is pretty exciting, not going to lie,” another said.

The Veggie Spirals are 100 percent veggies and have no sauce or seasoning added to them—that part is up to you. Even better, you don’t have to make them yourself. Just heat them up when you need zoodles, and you’re good to go. You can use them to make zoodles lo mein, caprese zoodles, or whatever else you can dream up.

Green Giant has been leaning in hard to the low-carb game lately: The company also sells riced vegetables, veggie tots, and frozen cauliflower mash. Look for Green Giant’s zoodles in your local freezer aisle, starting in January.
